Superb EP from Luke Vibert. And ridiculously cheap at the moment, too!

ALAN

Early classic Luke stuff. It points ahead to his current basic acid releases and in some ways it hasn't been eclipsed. An enjoyable listen with some seriously unhinged programming and sonic futzing... everything sounds great, especially the last track as it sends you into a deep narcotic dream state. Vibert is one artist you can trust, and this is one of his more no-nonsense productions.

Lyrtois

Wagon Christ begins to find his way with SUNSET BOULEVARD, taking a chill attitude and funky break to "(Lapping Up) Space Milk." "Chicago's Back Breaking Bat" starts off spry, but once the kick drums rattles in, it gives the track another spirit altogether. "Gone" and "Electran" go in an acid direction, and "Sleeper" rounds things out with some abstracted electro. An interesting EP that shows Vibert's evolution.
