Rivik
The Moon Edit is easily one of, if not, the most underrated and underhyped tracks ever worked on by the progressive trance God, Mike Dierickx or even in EDM annals as we know it today. This track is tightly wound and features a great thumping bassline, which BTW has all but vanished from EDM producers repertoires. (Gee thanks! technology and your wonderful advancements!) It also has a killer Robotic vocal sound which haunts the track throughout. It is also worth mentioning that while the second half of the track mirrors the first, listeners will undoubtedly be soundly tranced out by one absolute breathtaker of a breakdown which basically sucks the entire track in to near silence and slowly spits it back out for a wonderful explosion, re-introducing us to the thumping piece of awesome music displayed during the first half. This track completely stunned the "highly" motivated crowd and blew the roof off Club Space Miami back in 2000 and an A+ is the grade I award it looking back on this near timeless piece of underrated material. One can only wonder if music like this will ever find a rebirth.. Mike HELP us!!
