"To celebrate their love for their favourite format, Saint Etienne and Heavenly have teamed up to release a box set of singles that didn’t come out on 7″ the first time round." This compilation contains some of their best but very rare - fanclub or deluxe cd released only - songs: Stranger in Paradise (from I Love To Paint / So Though deluxe edition), How I Learned To Love The Bomb (from Continental deluxe edition), Swim Swan Swim (from Fairfax High / Good Humor deluxe edition) and Aqualad (from Tales From Turnpike House deluxe edition). So, this is an essential release for any Saint Etienne fan but especially for those who love their music on vinyl. All the songs are great. The b-sides are a real completion. The pressing of the vinyl is good and the original artwork very nice. I genuinely hope box #2 is still to be released (and soon).
