Lavivan
this is one of the best records ever from Italy... a masterpiece of progressive hard rock!!
Brick my own
Simply an awesome album. One of the best italian progressive rock bands, I think. Very heavy and intricate guitar playing on here. The singer has a great voice that really fits well with the music. There's also mellotron on one of the tracks and some flute and harmonica and mandolin (?) on other songs. My favorite track is "Citta grande", it has a very haunting vibe to it and is really melodic in the unique style that only italian bands seemed to pull off with ease. The guitar solo section gives me goosebumps everytime I hear it. But basically the whole album is great from start to finish. I recommend this to anyone who likes creative hard rock with some folky elements mixed in.
