Ceck
In spite of the confusing artist credit and title, i.e. I would say that: Iris, Inri, Pencil And Psalm (only given on the label) is the artist pseudonym, and Rischka's Light Faces is the title. But that aside, this is really the second Wolfgang Dauner Et Cetera album. The cover tells us that this was recorded the day after Et Cetera was completed, by the very same band! And amazingly good it is too. Very experimental on the whole, with just one upbeat number (Rischka's Light Faces itself) in the style of Rischka's Soul. No wonder it's so sought after. Obviously means that Et Cetera should have been a triple album!Track 4. is an alternative version of "Mellodrama" from Et Cetera. The "melodron" would seem to be a misspelling of Mellotron, heard on this track (uncredited on the Et Cetera LP reissues). Some familiar themes are heard in other tracks, yet none of the rest duplicates anything released elsewhere.
