Doomredeemer
There are few musicians, who for so long in the box are like John Mayall. In the 1960s served are always of occupation varying band The Bluesbreakers as a kind of graduating class for many British blues rockers. For example, guitarists as Eric Clapton, Peter Green and Mick Taylor learned the tricks of the trade with him, before they went respectively to play in Cream, Fleetwood Mac and Rolling Stones. On the album Stories (2002), the Bluesbreakers from guitarist Buddy Whittington, Joe Yuele drummer, keyboardist Tom Canning, percussionist Lenny Castro and bassist Hank Van Sickle. Mayall itself now has a respectable age. What applies for good wine, however, often for blues musicians: the older, the better. Since in more than 40 years experience, Stories go odes to blues legends like Little Walter (South side Story) and Leadbelly (Oh, Leadbelly) perfectly along with cover versions of modern classics like I Thought I Heard The Devil (Walter Trout) and Dirty Water (Buddy & Julie Miller). Stories drives like a well-kept vintage car on the roads of the music.
