Kirizan
This is a really excellent example of the great instrumental happy hardcore coming out at the time. The A-side 'Ultimate Sounds' has everything I look for in this kind of track; light-speed scratching, KRS-ONE vocal samples, the almost cliche but oh-so-necessary piano and string harmonies and an absolutely huge breakdown. If you like the oldskool hip-hop influenced hardcore sound this is a record you will really enjoy as it cuts no corners on this front and has top notch production values. The B-side '10-4' is a bit less exciting but also worth checking out, more instrumental bizness but with some police or military sampling thrown in the mix.
