FLIDER
So there I was, minding my own business one day back in the early 1990's (before Madstock 1) and this bill poster hits me "The Nutty Boys - Live!" I'll better have a bit of that. And at the first gig I picked up the cassette (I wll explain what one of those is at another time) version of Crunch! I spent the next three years following them, but now wish I'd followed them a lot more. They were fantastic. The album does them reasonable justice, highlights are Fur Elise, You Got It! and (Always) The Innocent - lyrics written 23 years ago before both Gulf Wars, various expense scandals and other nicieties of the UK Government still as fresh and meaningful today as they were 23 years ago(23! - I must stop doing this to myself) As is Magic Carpet - although the drug of choice in the lyrics [ecstasy] has changed for some. To all the lads, thanks for a truly great album; some wonderful live gigs, and the fun of sodding about through London to get the last train home. What more can I say than You Got It! (no, not just the last train...) Thoroughly recommended folks.
