I be happy to found this both tracks at one record today. All the years from 1985 untill today, i was contented with the Album. Now i want to have the Maxi single in my collection. Especially Cyborg dance is definitly one of my top 5Electro Robot singing tracks. It's a pearl.

Cyborg Dance's main synth riff and bassline are evidently inspired by Nightmove's synth classic Transdance as it uses the same sequence of notes. Or is it just me and my selective hearing? Main notable difference is that this production is more syncopated, less teutonic in vibe and much funkier. Both all time '80s electronic classics in any case.

Nah man you weren't being lazy!...I get so excited that I have to write down my thoughts and feelings and then edit them again days after.... Intoxicants and music... ;)
Burirus
Yes exactly that. I was being lazy with my previous comment. And yes you are correct regarding similar basslines back then. Being directly or indirectly influenced from each other. Both in note sequence and or texture.

Do you mean the bass line from Transdance (New York Disco Mix)? Yes I can hear it too... But then again a lot of bass lines were similar due to it being quite simplistic/minimal (which isn't a problem as it grooves along very nicely)..

I can't believe this record doesn't get more recognation! By far the best two tracks from the album, stand out gemms that easily puts Jam On It on old dusty shelves! This is the most futuristic, musical and dense two tracks electro/vocoded hip hop ever had to offer, though amazingly, this neither really sounds old school nor retro, just like the most spaced out music Daft Punk could ever dream to produce for the Dancefloor, or so I think. I just hope my crate digging habbit would sometimes dig up records that would send this 12" off from my all time top ten, but I don't see that happening anytime soon, if ever...
