I am a huge huge fan of the Playground series and if you like Nujazz, Soul, electroswing, breakbeats, triphop and more mixed - then all of these are worth buying. But, there is just something truly special about this one. The track selections, the choice of track order and the attention to detail for a coherant and cohesive mix of fine craftsmanship and creation. A mix which i go back to time and time again. A seductive selection of chilled beats which travels along sweetly and which increases beat pace as it progresses. Eventually reaching the perfect crescendo. A fine piece of work Les Gammas. I bought this one first by accident in a record shop and when i saw the excellent hefner track Black Beauty from his stunning album residue, which is a pretty rare and beautiful album i knew i had to get this. And i wasn’t let down.
