Gold Crown
Brilliant release nice production and smooth grooves
invasion
Benson's most overly-commercialized release of the 70s. Track after track of light jazz / easy listening. No standout tracks and few good solo sections. It's amazing to think he would release his best album, Give Me the Night, just a year later. But that one had a brilliant producer.

+KwestRecords I'm going to have to disagree imo benson's best records were on CTI.

Totally disagree with your review this is a marvellous record, yes its light and breezy that's why its called smooth jazz, what you didnt mention is the nice vocals great production and and lots of different genre crossing elements, and Tommy LiPuma isn't a great producer? after all he produced Breezin Bensons greatest LP

Globe 199 is to put it mildly talking rubbish, this is a great album if you only buy one George Benson album this would be a great addition to your collection! rated 5/5
