Just got this today. It's not my favourite KJ album, but I have to say that the vinyl sounds great. I only wish it was in a gatefold sleeve, but the prints, blue vinyl, and cool alternate cover more than make up for that.So yeah, if you're buying Pylon on vinyl, I recommend going for this version.

I felt the pledge release sounded really good on vinyl...the bass is deeper and the vocals are clearest compared to the cd. Not so with Absolute Dissent. Vinyl of AD sounds horrible but I dont care for the production of the whole CD/ record except for a few tracks. But also...everyone s stereo is different. I have a nice old Yamaha receiver that can bypass and hear directly from the phonograph. The release of Hosannas sound good to me on vinyl. MMXXII sounds good but I prefer the CD. I own everything KJ on record and CD. Everything excep 1 early single. And Im very particular but again this is only my opinion.

Does anyone know whether the sound quality of this edition is better than the original vinyl release (which is not at all satisfying)? Besides, a great album.

Answer comes a little bit late, but maybe it‘ll help others: the soundquality on this release is fine.

I'm always nervous about buying new Killing Joke releases.......but this is one brilliant album!
