Hunted for ages to get one of these, paid way more than I should of, but it was worth every penny. One of my favourite bands and the record does not disappoint. Brody's vocals are unadulterated - "The Hunger" is something I play to show friends why I bought this record, and it blows everyone away. Watch out for fake copies of these!! A tell-tail sign is that the woman on the cover's foot is not full in shot. Every genuine original should also always be a grey marbled vinyl from Tarantula. Black vinyl is not a genuine original (there is however a Record Store Day red vinyl reissue).

Thetalas

Apparently, out of the 1000 pressed, in addition to pressing gray marble LPs, they also pressed purple marble ones. Does anyone have the purple one and did it also come with the opaque outter bag? I need to know if the purple marble version is part of this original limited pressing.

Although I have no confirmation for this but to me it seems the purple ones are just a transition color of the 1000 copies of the "gray pressing". Some came out purplish, some came out grayish.

Ok thanks..good to know! So I guess they pressed 500 grey and 500 purple? If anyone has anymore information about the 1st press of this album, please let us know.
