This very ABBA-esque disco ditty was originally nominated for the Dutch entry at the Eurovision Song Contest. Sadly enough, it did not make it to the ESC; Bill van Dijk "Jij En Ik" was chosen instead. What a big mistake it was. The song was picked up rapidly thereafter by retro-poppers Tight Fit who were celebrating successes with "Back To The 60s" and their version of "The Lion Sleeps Tonight (Wimoweh)", a UK No. 1 hit record. The Tight Fit version of "Fantasy Island" was a UK Top 5 hit and I really think that German singer Nicole ("Ein Bisschen Frieden" / "A Little Peace") would not have won ESC 1982 so easily if The Millionaires were in the contest, especially given the fact that ABBA was a bit out of focus those days...
