The following is solely my opinion, and doesnt exist to try and turn you.On reflection, this EP was produced at a time where "the golden era" had faded somewhat. The producers of this and humans second release, made these releases because they wanted to hang on to the passion in the music that seemed to be disappearing around them. Perhaps that was just a sign of change? Music in their time was all about passion, and being involved in a movement. I hope this music reminds you or, invites you to do the same, by make music because you have a real reason to.

A beautiful and quite strange record : 'Evil K-Nivl' is a kind of slow industrial-wave burner, and the flip 'Skating on thin ice' is pure Detroit tech-house bliss, in the manner of 'Jazz is the teacher' or the more melodic and jazzy UR productions, and easily as good. Absolutely essential.
