Not-the-Same
Finally managed to a nice copy of this pressing, yes, sounds amazing as others have stated. I'd still buy a repress though!
Mezilabar
Oh my god, this pressing sounds pure and perfect. This is fantastic! Absolutely amazing sound. What can I say about this masterpiece. One of the best electronic albums of all time
Wizard
Unbelievably good album that somehow manages to sound better with every listen, despite it's age. I'm just surprised that the cost of picking this up on vinyl isn't higher!
Bundis
My copy includes 2,12x12" Art Prints of the front cover, are they part of the standard packaging?
Kirizius
No, I don't think so. That's odd, are they on the same card stock as the sleeve?
Banal
Some amazing music on this album and if any one likes electronic music then this is a must. :)))))))
Hra
I can only echo what has been said, Out There Somewhere is quite possibly the greatest piece of electronic music ever conducted, and I say 'conducted' because of the orchestral elegance of the track(s). The first part, an intense chemical rush, the second a blissful 4am comedown washing away the woes of the world. Electronic music, in its very being, is intelligence, and demands intelligence from its listener, but Orbital go way beyond that with In Sides, because this is an unpretentious ageless masterpiece, every last bit of it, and the final blessing is these two incredible multi-layered soundscapes. Unparalleled.
Jaberini
From the opening sounds to the 26 minute epic of 'Out There Somewhere' this album is bloody genius. There is something indescribably gorgeous about this album. I've tried to de-construct and analyse it for years. But now every time I listen to it I simply lay back, relax and let my mind tingle with joy at the sounds it has to offer. This album achieves the holy grail of electronic music by simultaneously sounding diverse but united.
Quemal
Absolute masterpiece, I know at least five people who stopped buying guitar music and changed to electronics after hearing this record. "Out There Somewhere" -especially the second part- is not only my fave Orbital song, I always list it at no.1 in my all-time top 10. Hearing is believing !
