Akelevar
Untouchable rhythms on both of these tracks - two lessons on how to build house beats that really live and breathe.

Mind Fluid is the first shot from the Nuyorican Soul project by Masters at Work, and it’s a stunner. It’s house, but skips the 4-to-the-floor beat for something more organic. Indeed, the whole project is based on the Latin-via-New York vibe that Masters at Work has always drawn from, but never embraced. Well, here, they welcome it with open arms. The two mixes each of “Mind Fluid” and “The Nervous Track” don’t differ much, but both are outstanding tracks. Where “Mind Fluid” sweeps you along, “The Nervous Track” wants you to shimmy. Beautiful work.
