Notes

Heavyweight 180g vinyl pressing.
Gatefold glossy cover.

Includes a 12" x 12" 20-page booklet and an additional 7" disc with 20 song-fragments: "Fly On The Wall": "A Unique Insight Into The Beatles At Work In Rehearsel And In The Studio During January 1969".

Generic anti-static die-cut poly-lined dust inner sleeve without corners (only the LP).

This "...Naked" -LP was mixed and remastered from the original 1969 recorded master-tapes and comes without "Dig it" and "Maggie Mae," two titles of the 1970 "Let It Be" release but with "Don't Let Me Down" that is not on Phil Spector's reproduced remix from 1970.
"Fly On The Wall" (7" Disc) consists of snippets of conversations and song-fragments as they were recording the album. None of them are numbered on the 7"-cover or in the booklet. They are edited here in a numbered track-list to give an overview for orientation.

Printed in the EU.

The earliest gatefold jacket & 7" sleeve has a misprint where credits are written.
The words "recordingis" are written as one word. Later pressings have the phrase "recording is" correctly printed as two words.

Rivik
Now the anniversary version is in progress, maybe just maybe, we will get a double vinyl or triple vinyl with all three versions together - Let It Be, "Naked" and Get Back?? And who knows some of those missing session cuts. We have been listening to the original much longer than any new cuts, it is always hard to accept which ones best, as the newer versions have not been around as long, unless you are of a new age. A musician typically loves "Naked", the general listener the "original". To the musician, you can hear the structure of the songs better and how they build up, thats art for you............
Groll
I wish they would re-release this on vinyl, that'd be incredible as this is a major step-up from the original Spector mess. The Wall of Sound was indeed an interesting idea and it did work well on some music like the singles from the Ronettes and the Righteous Brothers but he butchered the hell out of Let It Be as well as Harrison's All Things Must Pass. I wish someone would go back and remix All Things Must Pass, if possible.
Qucid
My copy has the words "recordingis" written as one word on the 7" single cover but not on the album back cover. Can anybody confirm the misprint on the album back cover exists ? as I can't see the error in the photos on this release. My runouts are 5954380 1A1 SRz & 1B1 SRz
Pryl
Bought my copy day one of release... "recordingis" is printed on rear of gatefold jacket and 7" sleeve.

My vote is for Phil’s original 1970 assemblage of “Let It Be”. Of course I appreciate the “back to basics/back to roots” approach that Paul had originally intended for what was going to be the “Get Back” project...and in all fairness, "Let It Be... Naked" deserves a listen, but it doesn’t really come out any better, or any closer to some unrealized masterpiece. Paul's "...Naked" offering plays simply as a bunch of songs, that’s it, it isn’t as interesting, or as satisfying as the Spector take, and ultimately ends up feeling nonessential somehow. As Paul once sang, “Speaking words of wisdom...LET IT BE”.
Altad
You couldn't be more wrong even if you tried, the Spector take is a hot mess of muddled overdubs and unnecessarily grandiose.
Tyler Is Not Here
I'm not sure if the grooves in my copy could be any shallower. Constant skipping.
Iarim
A true Beatles fan would prefer Let It Be... Naked over Let It Be. Enough said.
Fearlesssinger
No true Scotsman, indeed. But you did say "enough said" so...valid.
Monam
A true Beatles fan would already have and worn out the original "Let It Be" and would be eager to hear the album presented in a form closer to its original artistic vision according to the living members. The versions are quite unique without Phil Spector's "Wall Of Sound"
Siralune
There was no American LP issue. Copies sold in America were imported from the UK and had a sticker with a Capitol number affixed to the shrinkwrap.
caster
People weren't buying a lot of records then so Capitol just imported some for the fans. This was done with other bands as well.
