Sound quality is really good and sleeve is perfect on this reissue of 1988 classic knuckles remix.

The ballroom paradise mix is getting a repress on Melodies international.

Since January 2017 this has sold several times for $100+, and is now listed as a $100-$200 record. This was never easy to find but what happened? Did someone interesting start playing this recently - causing the recent demand and the price escalation?

See I saw a couple copies of this for sale a few years ago for around the £25 mark. Stupidly thought I would wait for prices to come down, then I believe Frankie and Cecil Womack died within a few months of each other, and I noticed the prices had shot up. Possibly involved!

I just think it's odd that this record was apparently not pressed in large quantities. Name and label wise, there's nothing obscure about this record. I have to believe that this record got poor distro and numbers at the time but was later realized to be a really really great release

The Def Mix arrangement is nearly identical to the remix of Chaka's "Ain't Nobody" from the same year. Buy that one before it turns into a $125 single :0

totally agreed. I think what keep that price down is the amount of copies out there. I've seen that record a bunch of time - I have only seen the MPB release once.
