Has anyone else noticed that the number of track separations does not equal the number of track titles? Side A has 5, Side B has 7, Side C has 2, and Side D has just one track!

This one is actually pretty easy to explain:Side A has two unaccounted for tracks - the introduction to "Rings On The Awkward Shadow" and a brief untitled instrumental piece before the lock groove that ends the side.Side B splits "Language Of The Eyes And Thread" into an introduction and a vocal section,"Whom And Wherefore To The Indians" into a main song and a coda section before letting the other three songs play in sequence.Side C combines "Sweet Faced Conquering Goals" and "Red Roll Butter Shutters" since they seamlessly flow.Side D segues all three tracks into one giant side long piece. "Land Mace" serves as a coda this way, and is one of Caroliner's best songs in or out of context. This also makes the lock groove that ends this side function as a natural extension of the piece.Hopefully this lengthy post clears up the discrepancies.

Tracks 6, 7, and 8 share the same titles as side A of the vinyl version. Unfortunately, Side A is 25 minutes long, while these total 16 minutes if discogs.com is correct. So the vinyl and CD are different.
