This band was the latest incarnation of Pierre Moerlen's Gong with young French musicians, that began working together before Pierre Moerlen's sudden death in 2005. As a tribute to him, they continued working on his new compositions (and others) for this album.

At the beginning of track 14 is a short extract of a late 1990s concert of Gong, where Daevid Allen is heard introducing Pierre Moerlen on drums. The presence and the origin of this recording is not mentioned anywhere on this album.
