UpdateI changed my off centre pressing, and sounds ok now. Was a bit gutted and was hoping that it was not the whole run. However i must have just got a dodgy one got replacement though, and was ACE. Got it on Now it's Pumping out Listing up, Sounds Fab. Anyway will do me. Still got the original double LP at me old dears. Have to get a hold of it and compare. Hope everybody gets a good pressing!

This sound a lot better than the Definitely Maybe & Morning Glory reissues. There is no hissing or compressed sound on my pressing, I dont have others to compare it iwth but it sounds great to me.

Hi,Has anyone else noticed the quite horrible distortion on Noel's sung 's' sounds on the final track, The Masterplan?It is almost unplayable / unlistenable. It is the only track on the record that sounds like this on my set up and is the only record I've noticed it on to this point.There's another similar conversation going on about a more general issue here - https://www.discogs.com/group/thread/529381 - but this seems very specific to this record / track to me. I'm going to get a new needle soon so will try again when I do and I'll pop back here to update.Thanks,Paul.

Just say, I changed my stylus for a new one and it now sounds just like the CD. Phew!

Hi Patti,I'm very familiar with the song in question via CD in the past and it is pretty much un-listenable. I am aware that it's probably inner track distortion but thought I'd see if any one else had the same issue. The rest of the album is fine. Anyway, my new stylus arrived today so I'll try it with that and see if it is any better. I'll post back my findings.Thanks,Paul.

Have you compared it to the CD version? Noel's singing's s's are quite prominent on that as well and since the song is the last song on the album it is the most inner track of the vinyl, thus having distortion and sibilance easier than other tracks.
