This repress/reissue sounds great, well done - my copy has the hard squared off edges, (not tapered on the physical vinyl itself) and for some reason that feels like it is the only way it should be ;-). Also, does anyone actually think this is translucent "gold" and not orange? Very much orange imho.

Yep, can confirm that the pressing sounds amazing, and also that it's totally orange. RTJ3 vinyl, now that is true gold colouring. But I love the way this looks nevertheless.

(Quick Review #13)Listen: #5I like this album a lot, but I don't think it's as great as it could have been. Its a very enjoyable album to "bump in the whip" but to me it isn't much more than that. Coming from Killer Mike and El-P I would have liked to see more concious rap here, but we didn't get that. However it is a great album with some serious bangers on here. I've listened to RTJ2 once and didn't enjoy it as much, however normally it takes me more than one listen to like an album so I can't judge that one, but as for this one.Strong 7 to Light 8

Does anyone else have surface noise on their copy at the end of the title track? Between Mike's last "Run the jewels..." and "The goblins were awakened," there's some rough scratchiness that kills my ears. It's a shame, the rest of the record sounds great.

I guess the compression on the digital versions make it less noticable
