What an original compilation is this! The title is a good rough definition of what’s inside. We find a fusion of Rhythmic Noise, Breakcore, Hardcore, Industrial and other indescribable stuff. The best word to describe most of the music here is “highly experimental”. It’s all about shattered beats, breaks and sounds. Disc 1 is the mix. Except for a track, there are no 4/4 beats. The tracks are a jungle of sound layers and effects, and in general quite energetic. Disc 2 consists of tracks back-to-back from Minion and Resurrector. This time tracks are completely different. There is a clear and definite melody on all titles, and the music is less intense too. There are two 4/4 Hardcore tracks, the rest is again highly original, weird and unusually “broken” music. But all tracks in general are hard to explain by words, so must be listened to understand. My advice: This compilation should be on the shelves of anyone liking Hardcore, Breakcore, Drum & Bass, Noise, Industrial and experimental stuff and of course anyone who is not afraid to experiment with something totally different. None of the 46 tracks inside fails to reflect the actual title of this compilation. The artwork is quite dull, plain and boring – seems like a promo or a twenty year old CD. But who cares when one listens to the content? When will we see another compilation like this?!
