I definitely remember the first time I heard this deep ass track played by SF favorite dj Sean Murray absolutely destroyed the dance floors l. A must have!

Excellent cover of the 1980s song I write the book by Elvis Costello.

Everyone has a handful of favorite house tracks. Some you like, cause they're just damn good tracks, others you like because hearing them immediately brings back fond memories. This track is one of those. If you know this record, you probably remember the first time you heard it or watched it devastate a dance floor. It's just straight up good house music. For me, the B side of this record is stellar. The Hardback Dub is an all around perfect house tune IMO, but the Bookin Da Beats mix is my favorite. Just a straight forward 4x4 stomper with an infectious hook that absolutely grabs you. I've witnessed it destroy many a dance floor. "I Write The Book, I Write The Book"! A perfect start to a great label, I might add.

That heavy drone type string on the hardback dub does it for me
