BEST MOVIE SOUNDTRACK EVER!! I LOVE "The Night Of The Comet", i just saw it again yesterday on "Comet TV" :) .for the 20th time LOL. There were more than ten songs in the movie, like the good cover version of "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" & more. This is one of my favorite Sci Fi movies of all times, along with "The Blob", "War Of The Worlds", & "I Robot". Its very unique in its own way. More "Fun", than "Scary".

I just watched this again for the first time in AGES and thought that song sounded a little off.This soundtrack is a synth wet dream.

Nice to have this soundtrack re-issued finally. However, the mastering is a bit too bassy and compressed.

Seems to be the way these days sadly...mastered for iPhone speakers rather than a real hi-fi :(. I thought the loudness wars were over. A shame as the damage cannot be undone. Any idea who remastered this? Did the label or the mastering engineer want to add compression?

I am dumbfounded why this soundtrack is so rare. Did they only make 50 copies? I want it so bad, but I can't possibly justify 50ish bucks for a single album. I guess I'll just have to hope I'll come across it one day in thrifting. :(
