Two previously unreleased 1977 tracks issued for the first time in June 1979 on both 7" and 12" by the UK EMI related dance label, Sidewalk. 'Stardance' appears only on the 12" Sidewalk release but is the only track of the three previously issued on a single on 7" on the EMI label in July 1977.

Note to recognize the original release:
- has MC 003/ A and MC 003/B (possibly MC 0031 A and MC 0031 B) etched on the runout grooves;
- the record has to be inserted by the right side of the cover (looking at the front ) and not by the top.

I have a promo copy and it has the top opening too with rounded corners

From testimonies of old merchants of records, , the first printing has the top opening with rounded corners, a few months after the second edition came out with right opening.I myself have bought in 1980 in Rimini (original) opening at the top.

"Stardance" is the standout track on this release in my opinion. I'm not a big fan of the original disco genre, but this track has something special about it that draws me in over and over again. There is some sort of spacey elements added to this song that puts it up there with other pre-italo disco songs such as Disco Dream & The Androids, Tantra, and maybe even Cerrone. This song could definately be categorized as early italo disco, and one of the best at that rate.

It's not well remembered or documented but I can recall that "Stardance" did actually have a reasonable amount of airplay on BBC Radio One in the UK back in July 1977 along with a Top Of The Pops TV performance and many shops stocked the orginal first EMI 7" at the time, but it still failed to make the national charts and as it was considered too experimental by EMI's marketing team it was not very well promoted to the disco/dance market. Two years later in 1979 it appeared as a bonus b-side track on the 12" version of "Woman", along with "Don't You Know Who Did It" on the Sidewalk label. This 12" states 1977 on the label because that is the publishing date but these were two previously unreleased 1977 recordings and were only finally issued on a single on the Sidewalk label for the first time in 1979 because this label did not exist back in 1977!
