Oh Dear.So pleased to have a copy of this .....but......What has happened to the sound? It's like it was re-recorded under water, in the bath.Someone has made a really botched attempt at de-noising this, or re-stereo-ising it or whatever. It sounds very odd indeed on headphones, but about passable through loudspeakers. This is a great record deserving of a better re-release than this, I'm a big fan of Trunk records etc., so I hope the fault is with the original holders of the masters.

Yes, it is among the worst re-issues I have ever heard. Very disappointed with it..The high frequencies are too much as well.

From Johnny Trunk - "I have news of a brand new mini venture. I've teamed up with James from Votary / The Roundtable and we have a tiny label thing just starting called Pheon, only pressing limited 500 copy vinyl runs of rare, sought after library music. The first LP is the first ever repress of the aquatic masterpiece "Sea Fantasy"

"High Tide" and "In The Ocean Depths" were used in the US version of the documentary called "Mysteries Of The Gods" (starring William Shatner).
