The essence of improvisation has often been associated with the dream of a certain disorder.

It lies much deeper than the skin, deeper than the will. It would almost seem improper to try to locate the exact spot where it would reside, for very few could actually find a productive end to their needs and desires.

Improvisation does not imply that it is an act of chaos, though it rejects all of what order is known to represent.

When one lets him/her self become a part of this form of expressionistic release, the finished product can often only have meaning to those who have been part of its creation.
