The first of the 2 Sequential records licensed from Fax to Rising High. The most classic of all the Sequential records but not neccessairly my favorite (see comment on another Sequential that says favorite). Sequential / Prophet is majestic. Perhaps the most well produced and flowing Sequential track. Its memorable and still stands out today in a historic way that few tracks can match. Sequential (dunne mix) and the self titled track are 2 different versions of the same track. Similar to what was done on Everything is Under Control ep. The original is a bit more subdued but perhaps more subliminal where as the Dunne mix is a bit more straight forward and full on. The mission rounds out the ep with an ambient version. I would like to question the comment below about this being early Goa Trance. I disagree. Perhaps cause you heard it on the beach or with other Goa Trance tracks i can see why you think this may be. But this is more spacey then spiritual which imo was the true vision of trance tracks. To be futuristic. There is nothing on Sequential that goes overboard or ultra sci-fi on it like what usually happens in Goa trance. Also the beats are heavier and generally faster in Goa. While thats qll my opinion one thing thing that isnt questioned is Peter Namlook never did Goa trance. 4voice, Air, Syn, Deltatraxx, Sequential etc all is not goa. One could say as Goa got more popular in 93-95 Namlook stopped doing trance because he already did it. So as it changed to Goa he stopped doing it. Its kind of a sign that he didnt like the direction. Which is another reason i think this is trance and or ambient trance. More associated with Frankfurt trance influenced then anything Goa.

Another early Goa Trance crossover with the song " Prophet". Goa Trance was pulling from what might be called trance back then as the genre slowly developed. This song was on a mix tape that a friend made me while we were in Anjuna Beach in 1993. So happy to have found this again. A great heart opening song. The 3rd song on this !2" is a mysterious sounding ambient cut that might work as a first song in a set of Goa Trance to alert the dancers that the set is about ready to begin and to set a mysterious mystical vibe for the set.. Somehow I feel like I have heard some of the samples in this song before which I like quite a lot. This is classic 1993. Thank's Pete Namlook for your part in this beautiful song. Sorry to hear that you passed. You brought so much beauty and heart to EDM. I will never forget you.
