For DOUBLEJOINTED, RAC don't diverge much from their electro leanings, but merely continue to refine them. "Doublejointed (2)" starts out more spare than we're used to, but as the layers build, so does the slab-like rhythm. "Distance (Remake)" has a large sweep that could carry one away, if it weren't for the steady thump that grows beneath it. "Nine" goes much deeper, with a throb that'll threaten to blow your speakers out, and "Root" brings in some warm, shiny tech-house for the delectation of your ears, showing that the RAC boys are nothing if not flexible.

Agree Dogboy73. In fact, how awesome are/were RAC?! Much better than the later formed Swag. Nine is brilliant especially!! A good dark, aggressive but up-beat techno tune. Must admit, I thought it was a lot darker when I originally thought it said "die". ;)

This is a bloody awesome EP! Just rediscovered it after going through all my records for stuff to sell. Not worth selling this because it's going very cheap on here & all 4 tracks are excellent. Grab this one people ;-)
