This is a different packaging than the early issue:
The difference is that this one has artwork changed on front and spine, to include information about this album being the equivalent of the 2LP issue on vinyl.
This was acomplished on the early issue by putting asticker on the front of the album and including an insert to say so too.
On this release however it is later, they changed the graphics, and save inserting one piece of paper into the box..

-*NO* Small notice of different lengths of album play time between directions of play.
Some boxes issued in late 1963 also featured a small 22 page catalog of 4-track open reel albums. Other Miles Davis albums listed would include In Person Friday night at the Blackhawk CQ 428, kind of Blue CQ 379 and Sketches of Spain CQ 348. Also the compilation Jazz Poll Winners CQ 385 (includes All Blues) and Giants Of Jazz CQ 548 (includes Devil May Care). Front cover lower right mentions this issue is the equivalent of the 2*12'' vinyl album C2S 820.
