Very bad pressing, no surface noises but very loud clicks at some point... the quiet parts of the songs are ok but the most loud parts are full of artefacts.

Our pressing is fine; was a bit dirty out of the package but I clean every record.

A soundtrack as simple and soothing as this needs a quiet and flawless press. Sadly its far from it. When getting the chance to choose releases I went for this one hoping the repress solved some earlier issues. They might have succeeded partly but it still remains to a large enough extent to warrant as a complaint. The surface noise is at a low enough level but what really ruins it are the crackles. I have listened to the green release and overall I think this one fairs better, but only by a little. Another dissapointment is the mastering. This is not a remaster and it was clear from the beginning that this was a digital soundtrack. Putting it on analog then of course has its share of struggles to overcome. Its not unlistenable and some tracks fair better than others but overall it has fairly bad dynamics and balancing. Ultimately on some parts you have a great time and others you wish it was better. Not terrible but bad enough for me not to recommend it to anyone but the absolute fans of these songs. At least wait until they try with another repress. If you have to choose between the green and clear Id say go for the clear unless you just love the green look, it wont be that much worse anyway. My brand new pressing came with a skip, i knew the quality was poor but that's really just bad quality, also the volume is really low. Only buy for collector purpose, playing this LP is not worth it.

Took a chance on this version after reading the poor reviews on the original press.. Zero complaints here.

Not a great pressing. It does have some crackling. With it being such quite music it's more noticeable than most other albums would be. However I'm not disappointed with it. Still plays fine & as long you turn up the volume & aren't a perfectionist it's worth it. Great Music!

I got mine yesterday and its noisy as fuck! So much crackling and popping. So bummed b/c i love this music.

Side A is very noisy on this pressing (like listening beach wave coming over and over again). Side B have little cracks here and there but it not as bad as side A

Exact same here. Pretty disappointing press, i contacted norman records when I originally bought it and they offered a refund but said that it seemed all copies were that way. A friend got the green version and it is actually pressed a little better but still pretty poor.

Absolutely flawless pression. I know that many people seem to think otherwise but, maybe I just got lucky. Not sure.

I'm really disappointed that my FAVOURITE track 'Door' isn't on the vinyl. It always makes me think about going home.

Also totally agree with the complaints about the pressing quality, my copy has quite a lot surface noise. It's so sad that such beautiful music isn't really enjoyable.

I got a copy ot the clear/transparent vinyl with the lenticular cover, and it plays with almost no crackling noise..There is of course some "air" audible inbetween songs or in the really quiet parts, and a bit static here and there, but this a vinyl record, right?You can't have it otherwise, unless you go for the cd version, or the digital download included..Maybe the green wax had the pressing issue, cause i see all people complaining, are about that version..

may wait on more reviews, but I was going to wait for another pressing and sell mine. The black lp i got is terrible. I should have heeded the warnings!

I agree with people complaining about the pressing quality. My copy crackles quiet a bit, what is distracting in the many quiet tracks. Not good.

Received a copy of the ltd ed that I've had on preorder since release today. Lenticular cover but clear/transparent vinyl. Same barcode (804297824314) as the ltd release.

I just randomly received mine in the mail and the sticker says green. I'll open it soon to see what the color actually is. I totally forgot about this one!

Did yours have the sticker on the front that says it's green vinyl?

My copy is a bit noisy, but not terrible. I've heard far worse from modern pressings. Definitely listenable.
